Set up Proofpoint PhishAlarm to Forward Phishing Emails to Radiant Security

Auto-forward Proofpoint PhishAlarm emails to Radiant Security.

Overview

Radiant Security analyzes phishing emails reported by end users for malicious indicators. To analyze these emails, we require copies of the originals. We receive them by configuring the PhishAlarm button to automatically forward copies of the reported emails to a designated Radiant Security mailbox.

When end users report emails using the PhishAlarm button, you can choose to forward those emails to a specific email address(es) for further analysis, such as a security operation center (SOC) mailbox. You can configure forwarding options for each type of email, such as simulated phish, potential phish, safelisted, or training.

In this step, configure the email forwarding options of PhishAlarm for your organization.

  1. Login to the Proofpoint Security Education Platform.
  2. From the left side menu, navigate PhishAlarm > Settings.
  3. On the Reported Email Handling section, under Potential phishing email handling, toggle on the Forward to the following email addresses setting and add the Radiant Security mailbox address:

    alerts@report.radiantsecurity.ai

  4. Scroll all the way down to the File Delivery Settings section.Screenshot 2024-01-31 at 3.53.42 PM
  5. Select Forward the included attachments in the reported email option.
  6. Click Save Changes.
